Age of Extinction

AoE takes place in the months following a world devastating event. In the torn and barren north, soldiers have banded together to start returning order. Sanctuaries were set up to shelter refugees, treat the injured and study the changed. Fort Jenner is one such haven devoted to keeping the survivors safe.

Outside the fort, creatures rule the wilderness and cities. Those that experienced rapid alteration have lost their minds and identities. They became shells of their previous selves, motivated only by their needs.

For others the anomalies have been slower in revealing themselves. Those fused with animal DNA have grown tails, received enhanced senses or received odd features. Most curious are those graced with heightened powers like the abilities to read minds are heal. Each power seems to be unique and the few scientists they have at their disposal can't figure out why.
